I was born in London, England, and lived for many years in New York before eventually making my way to Australia, where I now live on the tiny island of Tasmania, at the foot of Mt Kunanyi.

This is my happy place, where I spend my days writing stories about fierce protectors, ex-military or with magical power, and the women who bring them to their knees.

When I’m not writing, you’ll usually find me hanging out with my knitting group, attempting to garden (although no one can call me a green thumb), or heading out for long walks in the rain.

For me, the best part of being a writer is escaping into make-believe worlds while everyone else is worrying about parking spaces, their boss, or the ever-increasing cost of a cup of coffee.
